The flat black plate attaches to the back of any structure at least 9" long and 5" wide, to accommodate the size of the plate. A triangular opening at the front of the item slides onto your S&K Telescoping Bat House Pole with Ground Socket, Gray, 15' (not included) or your S&K Telescoping Aluminum Pole and Ground Socket, Gray, 15' (not included) for mounting. The solid plate allows you to predrill holes at the desired location on it, for a versatile adapter.
